In line with this commitment, People’s Insurance, together with the Kandy regional team, recently coordinated a CSR donation initiative aimed at assisting flood-affected families in Kotagala, Dimbulapathana, within the Nuwara Eliya District.
The donation programme was organized in collaboration with the Dimbulapathana Divisional Police and focused on providing essential support to families impacted by adverse weather conditions. Through this initiative, People’s Insurance sought to ease immediate hardships while standing in solidarity with communities affected by natural disasters.
This CSR effort reflects the Company’s strong belief in compassion, social responsibility, and collective action. Employees actively participated in the distribution process, reinforcing a culture of empathy and volunteerism while strengthening relationships between the Company and the communities it serves.
