Women’s Day 2026 turned the busy streets of Colombo and the vibrant streets of Kandy into a space for conversation, connection, and celebration. As part of People’s Insurance PLC’s  Women’s Day Townstorming Campaign, our Sales Teams were actively educating communities on the general insurance options available for women, sharing insights on protection designed for them, and creating meaningful moments of awareness along the way.

The Women’s Day Townstorming Campaign was built around one simple belief that every woman deserves to know her general insurance options. Women entrepreneurs, working mothers, self-employed professionals, and homemakers across Sri Lanka are often underinsured, not by choice, but by a lack of awareness. Through face-to-face engagement and open community sessions, our teams walked women through general insurance solutions designed for them, helping them ask the right questions and make informed decisions about their financial security and personal protection.

The campaign put real, affordable insurance solutions in front of the communities that need them most. It was a day of smiles, stories, and small moments but the impact goes far beyond a single day. When women are informed, protected, and empowered, entire families and communities grow stronger.
